Sherando High School Selected As AIA Event Partner For The 2025 Season
Sherando High School was selected and will host its third Atlantic Indoor Association(AIA) contest, Sherando Showcase, on Saturday, March 15, 2025. We are excited to bring a competition of this type to the Northern Shenandoah Valley once again, this time showcasing upwards of 60 groups across 4 divisions – Color Guard, Percussion, Concert Percussion, and Winds.
The Sherando High School Band Boosters invites our local community to come out and support all of these groups. These are team sports, allowing students to work with their peers, challenge themselves, enhance their communication and time management skills, and entertain audiences of all kinds. Let’s celebrate their hard work and accomplishments during the 2025 season!
Donations and Volunteers Needed
For this to be a successful event, it takes a team! We need volunteers & supply donations from ALL band families as ALL band students benefit from this event! Thank you so much to those who have already signed up! To those who haven’t, please take a look at the sign up genius and consider taking a shift. (**Note that there is a second page of jobs to check out!**) If you haven’t had experience with this type of event, some of these duties might sound intimidating, but don’t worry, you will absolutely have instructions and guidance and you will be great! Don’t be discouraged and miss out on an opportunity to be involved!
